Stations

This project by artist Steve Shaheen depicted the stations of the cross. The photos describe making a silicon rubber mold with plaster support shell. Casting wax patterns of the original clay. Investing the wax patterns to make ceramic shell molds. Once the wax is removed the shell is fired in the kiln and then filled with bronze metal. The bronze is then chased and a patina applied to the pieces.
